The father of British Prime Minister David Cameron has died in hospital in France after suffering a stroke while on holiday.
Ian Cameron, the 77-year old father of British Prime Minister David Cameron, has died after suffering from a stroke while holidaying in France with his wife Mary.
BBC News reports that David Cameron arrived at the hospital a short time before his father died.
The Prime Minister had been informed this morning of his father's stroke and of his increasing ill health and decided to fly to France to be with his father after discussing his condition with doctors in the French hospital.
